Editorial Reviews:

Epson has earned a strong reputation for first-class printers, which offer an outstanding combination of quality, reliability and value for money. However, unless these products are complemented by Epson consumables, users cannot expect to fully capitalize on their investment. Epson understands that printing is a process, with printer, inks and paper working together to offer the ultimate in quality output. With this in mind, Epson produces consumables that offer optimum performance throughout a long, trouble-free, working life.

Summary: good paper but
Comment: This is a nice paper, as pretty much all epson papers are. However I found this paper to overly textured and didn't seem to accept the ink from a 1280 very well. Because the over texture it seemed to make the images look unsharp. Also for the price I'd say that it's not worth the amount.
If you looking for a great paper with some nice texture the Epson watercolor paper is better I find.

Summary: Nice Look, Softer Finish
Comment: This paper produces prints that are not quite as sharp as you would get with premium glossy paper, or even matte photo paper, but it's a very nice look. I'm an artist who works a lot with charcoal and colored chalk pencils, so for me, these prints look like the product of someone who just completed a KILLER piece of art!
On other Epson papers, my Epson R320 usually prints everything a tiny bit darker than what my screen shows in photoshop, so I always have to lighten my photos a little more than normal in order to get a perfect print. Not so with this paper. The colors and intensity are right on! I've mostly printed nature photos and pet photos with this paper, and I am extremely happy with both!

Summary: I like this paper but...
Comment: I like this paper, its got a great fine art rough texture if that's appropriate for the specific images you're working on. But, i find that it will occasionally bleed very detailed images. I found myself liking the papers that have lustre finishes, but it's all a matter of personal taste. I would suggest buying a small amount of a small size to see if you like what it does for your specific work.

Summary: LOVE it!
Comment: I opened an art gallery this summer and wanted to produce my own prints on an Epson Stylus R1800. My goodness! I was amazed at the results! Truly, I would have never guessed the difference could be so great. I thought my work was printing nicely before, but I've read a lot of folks just raving about this Fine Art paper and wanted to try it. It is pricey, but well worth every penny. The reds in my pomegranate paintings have never been so brilliant. I enthusiastically endorse this product! Well done, Epson!

Summary: best inkjet paper, by far!
Comment: I use this paper whenever I print almost all of my artwork. The images come out looking incredible -- when I print an image that was originally on watercolor paper, it is almost impossible to tell the difference -- it has that nice watercolor paper look and feel. Also, there are lots of warnings in the packaging about handling and printing on this paper -- but I have had no problems with scratching images transported just sitting in a folder in my car -- and I've also loved the quality of printing on both sides -- one has a little less texture than the other, is all. (I'm using an Epson Stylus Photo RX620, btw.)
